A Rebuke of
Zeitgeist.
This whole list is only pointing
out the misinformation in this short ~3 minute clip from the whole film: You
can find the clip here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aW2N46vf4Q
Not only does Zeitgeist present false information, it slants truth with logical
fallacies and quotes out of context.
- Zeitgeist
claims that many other pre-christ gods were
crucified and arose after 3 days: Crucifixion was not invented until
shortly before Christ’s time. Many of these pre-christ
Gods claim to be from 3000BC.
- Zeitgiest claims that YouTube
removes the videos and that only PROVES that what is in the video is true:
The Holy Bible has been banned in USSR, China, Iran, Iraq, Muslim Africa,
Japan and many other smaller places. These countries take up almost ˝ of
the world’s land surface area. YouTube only
takes up a server on the internet. This means either the Bible is true, or
that this system of proving things doesn’t work. Pick one, atheist.
- The
STAR in the eastern sky cannot be FOLLOWED by 3 men in the east traveling
west. It would be to their backs.
- Jesus
has as much chance of being born on December 25th as on any
other day of the year. We do not know when Jesus was born. This
“similarity” is false.
- Horus was not born of a virgin. His mother was
impregnated by his father’s severed phallus.
- “Horizon”
is not a contraction of “horus is risen” as
Zeitgeist would have you believe. The Egyptians did not even know the word
“Horus” as it was a hellenization
(to colloquialize to greek)
of the actual Egyptian word “Heru,” which was
the name for the god. Horiz- in greek means “to
limit” from the greek word “horos”
which means “boundary.” That is the equivalent of saying that the Russian word
“Nyet” (meaning “no”) is just a contraction of
the English words “not yet.”
- To
take a hellenization of an Egyptian word, switch
around the letters to form a present-day English word like “Horus = Hours” is totally ludicrous. This is like
saying that the word “Hares” is just switching around the letters in “Hears”
because rabbits have big ears.
